Building on insights from the Dutch EPR Pilot, this follow-up initiative aims to scale reverse supply chain solutions to other sourcing regions such as Pakistan and Egypt. The intention is to apply learnings and enable the movement of an estimated 100 tonnes of Dutch textile waste into international circular denim supply chains. The pilot will explore the transferability and scalability of reverse logistics for post-consumer cotton while assessing local infrastructure, policy, labor, and trade dynamics. It will also expand the network of pilot participants to include more brands and mills based in Pakistan and Egypt. Any Denim Deal member interested in participating is encouraged to reach out.
